Position: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all warehouse processes and procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively in order to meet customer demands and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize warehouse processes and procedures, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving.
• Oversee the planning and coordination of daily warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and storage.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Train, supervise, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure they are knowledgeable, motivated, and efficient in their roles.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
• Analyze and report on warehouse metrics, such as productivity, accuracy, and cost, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse processes and procedures.
• Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Resolve any issues or problems that arise in the warehouse, including inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and employee conflicts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures, inventory management, and logistics.
• Proven track record of optimizing warehouse operations and reducing costs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
