Position: Director of Student Success and Retention

Location: Durrës, Albania

About the Role: As the Director of Student Success and Retention, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our students. In this position, you will lead a team of professionals to develop and implement strategies that promote student retention, engagement, and overall success. You will work closely with various departments to coordinate efforts and provide support to students throughout their academic journey. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively guide and motivate a team towards achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to promote student retention, engagement, and success.
• Oversee the development and execution of programs and initiatives that support student success, including academic advising, tutoring, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with various departments to coordinate efforts and ensure a seamless student experience.
• Monitor and analyze data on student retention and success to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
• Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff to proactively address any issues that may arise.
• Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services and support to students.
• Develop and manage the budget for student success and retention initiatives.
• Stay current with industry best practices and trends in student success and retention to continually improve our strategies and approaches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in a leadership role in student success and retention, preferably in higher education.
• Strong understanding of student success and retention theories and best practices.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful student success and retention initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing a team and budget.
• Passion for supporting and empowering students to achieve their academic goals.
