Job Description: MovieMagic Film is seeking a talented and experienced Film Editor to join our team. As a Film Editor, you will be responsible for the post-production process of films, ensuring that the final product is of the highest quality and meets the creative vision of the project. You will work closely with the Director, Producers, and other team members to deliver compelling and visually stunning films.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director and Producers to understand the creative vision and objectives for each project.
• Edit raw footage into a cohesive and engaging story, while also maintaining the desired tone and style.
• Make decisions on the best shots, angles, and transitions for each scene to enhance the narrative.
• Work with sound designers, colorists, and visual effects artists to ensure a seamless integration of all elements.
• Continuously review and refine the edited footage to ensure that it meets the high standards of the project.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest editing techniques and software to improve the quality and efficiency of the editing process.
• Manage and organize all project files and assets to ensure a smooth post-production workflow.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide progress updates to ensure that deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Film Editor in a professional setting.
• Proficient in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative vision.
• Knowledge of visual effects, color grading, and sound design is a plus.
