Job Overview: As a Family Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for collaborating with community partners to provide a wide range of services to families in need. You will play a crucial role in assessing the needs of families and connecting them with the appropriate resources and support. This position requires a strong understanding of family dynamics and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments to determine the needs of families and develop individualized service plans
• Work closely with community partners to provide families with access to resources such as housing, healthcare, and educational programs
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing emotional support and guidance as needed
• Monitor and track progress of families, identifying any barriers and providing necessary interventions
• Facilitate workshops and support groups for families on topics such as parenting, healthy relationships, and financial management
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies to improve services and meet the changing needs of families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, services provided, and progress made
• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of family services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with families in a social services setting
• Knowledge of family dynamics, community resources, and social service systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
• Empathetic, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
