Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement metal manufacturing processes and procedures to meet production goals and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, ensuring that they are manufacturable and meet customer requirements.
Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
Utilize CAD software to design and develop manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
Oversee the installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring that it is functioning properly and meeting safety standards.
Develop and maintain production schedules, monitor production progress, and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
Train and mentor production staff on metal manufacturing processes and procedures.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure that products meet specifications and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent future problems.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in metal manufacturing processes and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal manufacturing, preferably in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of metal manufacturing processes, including welding, cutting, bending, and forming.
Proficient in CAD software and experience designing and developing manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to metal manufacturing processes.
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
