Job Title: Curriculum Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Curriculum Specialist to join our dynamic education team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum materials for various educational programs. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and educators to ensure that our curriculum meets the needs of our students and aligns with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design curriculum materials for in-person and online educational programs, including lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that curriculum materials are accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify gaps in curriculum and make recommendations for improvements.
• Utilize instructional design principles and educational technology to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum materials, making revisions and updates as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Train and support educators in the implementation of curriculum materials.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to gather feedback and incorporate it into curriculum development.
• Collaborate with other Curriculum Specialists to ensure consistency and coherence across programs.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of educational theories, instructional design principles, and educational technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to curriculum development.
• Proficiency in educational software and learning management systems.
