Position: Construction Project Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee our construction projects from conception to completion. As a key member of our team, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Coordination
• Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and timelines.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring that all costs are in line with the approved budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.

Team Management and Leadership

• Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including contractors, subcontractors, and site staff.
• Provide direction and guidance to the team, ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goals.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.

Quality Control and Safety

• Ensure that all construction work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work is being performed according to the project specifications.
• Address any quality or safety issues immediately and work to resolve them in a timely manner.

Management and Administration

• Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure that all parties are fulfilling their obligations.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and stakeholders.

Project Delivery

• Oversee the construction process from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed on time and according to the project schedule.
• Manage project changes and variations, and communicate any delays or issues to the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that projects are delivered within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
