Job Overview: As a Senior AWS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our services to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of AWS services, infrastructure automation, and best practices for cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage our AWS cloud infrastructure to support our applications and services.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud resources.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the cloud infrastructure, working closely with the development and operations teams.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and recommend and implement improvements to our existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical recommendations, and implement solutions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and participate in knowledge sharing sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in designing, building, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, and others.
• Solid experience with infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
