Job Title: Animal Production Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Animal Production Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Animal Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our animal production facilities, ensuring the highest quality of care and production standards are met. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional organizational and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of animal husbandry and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of animal production, including breeding, feeding, health monitoring, and harvesting
• Develop and implement efficient and sustainable production practices to maximize animal growth and ensure optimal health and welfare
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, equipment, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted production
• Hire, train, and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest level of productivity and performance
• Collaborate with veterinarians and other specialists to develop and implement effective animal health and nutrition programs
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address any potential issues or hazards
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards, as well as company policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the production process
• Analyze production data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and decrease costs
• Develop and manage production budgets, track expenses, and make recommendations for cost-saving measures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in animal production management, preferably in a large-scale operation
• Proven experience in managing and motivating a team
• Thorough understanding of animal husbandry and production processes
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
