About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cruise Director to join our team and oversee the operations of our cruise ship. As a Cruise Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cruise, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for our guests. You will work closely with the ship's captain and crew to plan and execute activities, entertainment, and excursions, while also overseeing the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily activities and entertainment for guests of all ages
• Work closely with the captain and crew to ensure smooth operations of the cruise
• Oversee the onboard entertainment, including live shows, games, and other activities
• Manage and train a team of staff members, including activity coordinators and entertainment staff
• Collaborate with the onboard culinary team to plan and execute special events and themed dinners
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during activities and excursions
• Manage guest complaints and resolve any issues that may arise
• Monitor and control the budget for onboard activities and entertainment
• Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors for excursions and activities at various ports of call
• Create and distribute daily newsletters and schedules for guests
• Conduct meetings with the captain and crew to ensure all departments are working together effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the cruise industry
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols for cruise ships
• Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
• Must be able to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
