Position: Data Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, as well as developing and implementing data pipelines to support our growing data needs. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.
• Develop and implement data pipelines to efficiently store, process, and analyze large volumes of data.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of our data by implementing data validation and monitoring processes.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot issues with data pipelines, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, and proactively suggest improvements to our data architecture and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and data modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data integration tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
• Experience with agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and provide creative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
