Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from planning and procurement to transportation and delivery. You will work closely with various departments within the company to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods and materials
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock levels at all times
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and negotiate transportation rates
• Analyze data and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
• Prepare and review shipping documents, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs documents
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for international shipments
• Coordinate with warehouses and distribution centers to optimize inventory levels and minimize storage costs
• Evaluate transportation routes and modes of transportation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective options are utilized
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure a smooth and seamless supply chain process
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and transportation costs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and customs procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
• Experience with logistics software and systems, such as SAP or Oracle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Willingness to travel as needed
