Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Transportation Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the transportation operations of our company. You will work closely with our logistics and supply chain teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement transportation strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
• Manage and optimize transportation routes, modes, and carriers to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
• Negotiate contracts with transportation providers to secure competitive rates and ensure quality service.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key transportation partners to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
• Manage transportation budget and track expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and laws.
• Develop and implement safety procedures to promote a safe working environment for all transportation employees.
• Train and supervise transportation staff, including drivers and dispatchers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and laws.
• Experience negotiating contracts with carriers and other transportation providers.
• Proficient in transportation management systems and other relevant software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
