About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As an AWS Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will work closely with our front-end developers, data engineers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and services on AWS
• Work with front-end developers to integrate the backend with user-facing elements
• Develop and implement efficient data storage solutions on AWS
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure smooth data flow and integration
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AWS development
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Work in an Agile environment, delivering high-quality code within tight deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer, preferably with AWS
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Node.js, etc.)
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Developer) are a plus
