Job function: Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Server to join our team at Taste Delight Rest.. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Your main responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to our customers by taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
• Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about menu items
• Upsell additional items to increase sales
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food orders
• Monitor tableware and refill water glasses as needed
• Handle any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Server in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus and ability to make recommendations
• Basic math and computer skills
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent, culinary or hospitality degree is a plus
