Job Title: Network Administrator

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our growing team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network infrastructure, ensuring its security, reliability, and performance. You will work closely with our IT team to design, implement, and maintain our network systems, as well as troubleshoot any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain our company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Configure and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
• Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Manage network access and permissions, ensuring the security and integrity of our network systems.
• Conduct regular network audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support the implementation of new network systems and technologies.
• Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in network technology to recommend and implement improvements to our network infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining network security systems, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Excellent knowledge of network hardware, including routers, switches, and access points.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
• Experience with network management and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, virtualization, and software-defined networking (SDN) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
