Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Overview: As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating and implementing effective educational programs for our organization. You will be responsible for designing curricula, creating instructional materials, and evaluating the effectiveness of our educational programs. This is a highly collaborative role, as you will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to ensure the quality and relevance of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and analyze data to identify learning objectives and program goals
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and develop learning materials that align with learning objectives
• Design and develop engaging and interactive instructional materials, including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and multimedia resources
• Utilize various instructional design models and methodologies to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the educational programs
• Develop and maintain a curriculum development roadmap to guide the creation and revision of curriculum materials
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing curricula to ensure their relevance and effectiveness
• Implement evaluation strategies to measure the impact and success of the educational programs
• Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure the integration of instructional strategies and technologies into the curriculum
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in curriculum development and instructional design

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a similar role
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles, theories, and methodologies
• In-depth knowledge of curriculum development processes, including needs assessment, content analysis, and evaluation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Proficiency in using instructional design and authoring tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, or Captivate
• Experience with learning management systems and e-learning platforms
• Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative, innovative, and adaptable with a strong attention to detail
