Key Responsibilities:

Develop packaging designs that are visually appealing, functional, and cost-effective
Understand the product and its target audience to create packaging that speaks to the consumer
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and sales to gather requirements and create design briefs
Conduct research on current market trends and competitor packaging to stay updated and create innovative designs
Create prototypes and mock-ups for packaging designs and present them for feedback and approval
Utilize design software and tools to create and edit packaging designs
Work with external vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely production of packaging materials
Conduct quality checks and make necessary revisions to packaging designs to ensure they meet industry standards and regulations
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
Communicate and present packaging design concepts and ideas effectively to internal teams and stakeholders
Keep up-to-date with industry developments, technological advancements, and new design trends to continuously improve packaging designs

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging design for consumer goods or related industries
Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDRAW, and Sketch
Strong understanding of packaging materials, printing techniques, and production processes
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Ability to think creatively and innovatively to come up with unique packaging solutions
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Passion for design and a strong portfolio showcasing previous packaging designs
