Title: Fruit Production Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fruit Production Manager to oversee our fruit production operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire process of fruit production, from planting and cultivation to harvesting and packaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and proven experience in managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans in alignment with company goals and objectives
• Oversee all aspects of fruit production, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest management, and harvesting
• Monitor and maintain crop health and quality standards
• Manage a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to coordinate production and meet customer demands
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Develop and manage budgets for production expenses
• Maintain accurate records and reports of production data, including yields, costs, and inventory levels
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fruit production techniques
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in fruit production, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Extensive knowledge of fruit production techniques and best practices
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
• Proficiency in budget management and record-keeping
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory guidelines in agriculture
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends during peak production seasons
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
