Job Title: CNC Machinist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials based on job requirements
• Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
• Monitor and troubleshoot machines during operation to ensure proper functioning
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments
• Maintain inventory of materials and tools, and request restocking when necessary
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC machines
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and materials
• Proven ability to set up and operate CNC machines independently
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adhere to them at all times
