Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum programs for our organization. You will work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create educational materials that meet the needs of our learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and create content that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and design curriculum materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, activities, and assessments.
• Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
• Conduct research and stay current with industry trends and best practices in curriculum development.
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance of curriculum materials.
• Review and evaluate existing curriculum to identify areas for improvement and make necessary updates.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and multimedia specialists to incorporate a variety of delivery methods, such as online learning, classroom instruction, and blended learning.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of curriculum development projects.
• Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to ensure consistent delivery of curriculum materials by instructors.
• Provide support and guidance to instructors and trainers in the delivery of curriculum materials.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of curriculum programs through feedback and evaluations, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of curriculum with other learning initiatives and programs.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and tools in curriculum development and recommend their integration into our processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
• Experience with curriculum development tools and software, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Experience in developing training materials for a variety of delivery methods, including online, classroom, and blended learning.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technologies.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
• Passion for learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices in curriculum development.
