About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Platform Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Data Platform Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing our data platform, ensuring its efficiency, scalability, and accuracy. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing data strategies to support the company's goals and objectives. This role requires exceptional technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for data management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the smooth functioning of the data platform.
• Develop and implement data strategies, in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and sales, to identify and prioritize data needs and requirements.
• Design and maintain data models, data pipelines, and data warehouses to support data collection, storage, and processing.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data within the platform.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data privacy, security, and compliance.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data management, and recommend and implement improvements to the data platform.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data services and solutions.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in data modeling, data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Java.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance, data privacy, and data security principles.
• Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex data sets and identify patterns and trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
