Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement database solutions that are reliable, scalable, and performant.
Develop database schemas, tables, and procedures to support application development.
Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and implementing indexing strategies.
Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
Monitor database systems to ensure data integrity and availability.

Implement and maintain database security protocols to protect sensitive data.
Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members on database-related issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Engineer or similar role.
Proficient in database design and development using SQL, PL/SQL, and other database languages.
Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Strong understanding of database principles, data structures, and data modeling.
Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with data security and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Certifications in database administration or related fields are a plus.
