Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Wood Product Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a Wood Product Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all wood products meet the highest standards of quality before they are released to the market. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming and outgoing wood products to ensure they meet our quality standards
• Utilize various tools and equipment to accurately measure and test the strength, durability, and overall quality of wood products
• Identify and report any defects or imperfections in the wood products, and work with production teams to address and resolve these issues
• Maintain detailed records of all quality control checks and communicate any discrepancies to management
• Collaborate with production and design teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and standards
• Monitor and track the performance of our wood products in the market and identify areas for improvement
• Regularly report on quality control metrics to management and provide recommendations for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and incorporate new techniques and technologies into our quality control processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Wood Science, Forestry, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in wood product quality control
• Extensive knowledge of wood properties, characteristics, and grades
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards
• Proficient in using various tools and equipment for measuring and testing wood products
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and imperfections
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
