Job Overview: As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the transportation and distribution process. You will work closely with various departments and external partners to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, who can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor the shipment of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all regulations.
• Track and report shipment status, providing regular updates to all stakeholders.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process.
• Collaborate with the purchasing and production departments to ensure the availability of materials and products for timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of all transportation-related documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Continuously review and analyze transportation costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
• Assist with the development and implementation of logistics strategies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving any transportation-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing transportation and distribution processes.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management software.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
