Job Title: Warehouse Operations Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team of warehouse employees and ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse facility.As the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and storing inventory to fulfilling customer orders. You will work closely with the warehouse manager to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and productivity within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance management, and providing ongoing support and coaching
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and shipping of inventory
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
• Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders to customers, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to improve cross-functional processes and communication
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse operations and provide recommendations for improvement
• Manage relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of inventory
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity within a warehouse setting
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Forklift certification is an asset
