Job Title: Textile Designer

Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Textile Designer to join our team. As a Textile Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating unique and innovative textile patterns and prints for our company's product line. You will work closely with our design and production teams to develop new designs and bring them to life. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for textiles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate ideas into beautiful and functional designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Textile Patterns: - Use your artistic and creative skills to develop unique and aesthetically pleasing textile patterns that align with our brand's style and product line.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in the textile industry and incorporate them into your designs.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand the design requirements and develop designs that meet the client's needs.

Create Technical Drawings and Digital Renderings:

• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create technical drawings and digital renderings of your textile designs.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in your technical drawings to facilitate the production process.
• Use digital rendering software to create 3D images of your designs to present to clients and for marketing purposes.

Conduct Market Research:

• Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in the textile industry.
• Conduct research on consumer preferences, market demands, and competitor products to develop designs that meet market needs.
• Use your research findings to inform your design decisions and stay ahead of the competition.

Communicate with Production Team:

• Work closely with the production team to ensure that your designs can be manufactured within the given time frame and budget.
• Collaborate with production to ensure that the final product meets the design specifications and quality standards.

Manage Design Process:

• Develop and maintain an organized system to manage the design process from concept to production.
• Plan and prioritize design projects to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality designs in a timely manner.
• Communicate with the design and production teams to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in textile design, preferably in the fashion industry.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD programs, and digital rendering software.
• Strong understanding of textile materials, prints, patterns, and color theory.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
