Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the steel production process from start to finish.
Monitor production progress and take necessary actions to ensure that production targets are met.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery of products.
Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
Manage and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Troubleshoot production issues and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination of production activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and reports.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain team for timely procurement of raw materials.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all products meet the highest standards.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to suggest new technologies or processes for improved production.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the steel industry.
Proven experience in managing a team and driving production targets.
In-depth knowledge of steel production processes, equipment, and machinery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office and production management software.
