ImpactHub is seeking a dynamic and experienced Development Director to join our team. As the Development Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our fundraising efforts. This is a crucial role within our organization as it directly impacts our ability to fulfill our mission and make a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and partners, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies
• Create and manage an annual development plan, including setting fundraising targets and timelines, and monitoring progress towards goals
• Coordinate and lead fundraising events, including donor cultivation events, galas, and other special events
• Oversee the development and submission of grant proposals and reports to foundations and government agencies
• Manage and maintain accurate donor records and ensure donor information is kept confidential
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop fundraising materials and campaigns to engage donors and increase awareness of our organization
• Work closely with the Board of Directors to engage them in fundraising efforts and provide support in their individual fundraising efforts
• Develop and manage an annual budget for the development department and ensure all fundraising activities are within budget
• Supervise and mentor a team of development staff, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of meeting fundraising targets
• Strong understanding of different fundraising strategies and techniques, including major gifts, corporate partnerships, and grant writing
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present information to a variety of audiences
• Proven experience in event planning and execution
• Experience managing budgets and financial reporting
• Knowledge of donor management databases and software
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
