Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing various projects from concept to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify innovative solutions and techniques to improve existing designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and 3D models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards
• Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and installation of mechanical systems, monitoring progress and ensuring quality control
• Perform thorough testing and evaluation of prototypes and final products, identifying any issues and implementing solutions
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, incorporating new technologies and processes into designs and projects
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a senior or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools
• Proven experience in leading and managing projects from concept to completion
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers is an asset
