Position: Materials Quality Control Inspector

Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Materials Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of materials used in our production processes meet the company’s standards and specifications. As the Materials Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest level of quality for our products and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, including raw materials, parts, and components, to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Utilize a variety of inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to measure and test materials
• Document and record all inspection results and maintain accurate records for future reference
• Identify and report any defects or non-conformances in materials and work closely with suppliers to resolve issues
• Communicate with production teams to ensure materials are delivered in a timely manner and meet quality requirements
• Collaborate with other quality control team members to develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines
• Conduct frequent audits of production processes to identify potential areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in materials and quality control techniques to continuously improve processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and procedures
• Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot defects and non-conformances
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
