Job Title: Data Storage Solution Engineer

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Storage Solution Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Data Storage Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's data storage solutions. Your expertise in data storage technologies and systems will be crucial in ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of our data storage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data storage solutions that meet the company's current and future data storage needs
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Evaluate and select appropriate data storage technologies and systems based on performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
• Monitor and optimize data storage systems to ensure high availability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data storage systems
• Develop and maintain documentation for data storage systems, processes, and procedures
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in data storage technologies and make recommendations for future improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data storage engineering or a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of different data storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and object storage
• Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions, such as AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage
• Strong understanding of data storage protocols and standards, including iSCSI, NFS, and SMB
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data management and backup solutions
• Knowledge of data security best practices
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Certifications in data storage technologies, such as EMC, NetApp, or HPE
