Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Philanthropy Officer to join our team. As a Philanthropy Officer, you will play a crucial role in our organization's success by cultivating and nurturing relationships with donors, managing fundraising initiatives, and promoting our mission to make a positive impact in the community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of philanthropic principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase donor retention
• Cultivate relationships with donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, to secure financial support
• Conduct research to identify potential donors and develop targeted outreach strategies
• Plan and execute fundraising events, including managing logistics, securing sponsorships, and coordinating volunteers
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns and materials to engage donors and promote our mission
• Manage donor database and ensure accurate and timely entry of gifts and donor information
• Write grant proposals and reports to secure foundation and corporate funding
• Monitor and analyze fundraising data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of fundraising efforts
• Maintain a strong knowledge of philanthropy trends, best practices, and regulations to inform fundraising strategies and activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Communication, or Nonprofit Management
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a nonprofit organization
• Proven track record of successfully securing donations and meeting fundraising goals
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate our mission and impact
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with donors and stakeholders
• Experience in event planning and execution
• Proficient in using fundraising software and donor databases
• Highly organized with excellent project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
• Passion for philanthropy and making a difference in the community
