Job Title: Ranch Manager

Location: Yekaterinburg, Russia

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ranch Manager to join our team. As the Ranch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our ranch operations, from maintaining the property to managing the staff and livestock. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong leader with excellent organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture and a proven track record of successfully managing a ranch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement ranch plans and strategies to ensure efficient and profitable operations
• Manage all aspects of the ranch, including livestock, crops, equipment, and facilities
• Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of the livestock, including providing necessary vaccinations, treatments, and feeding schedules
• Hire, train, and supervise ranch staff, including ranch hands, veterinarians, and other support staff
• Create and manage budgets for the ranch operations, including forecasting expenses and identifying cost-saving measures
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local community members
• Maintain accurate records and reports on ranch activities, including inventory, production, and financials
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Oversee and participate in daily ranch activities, including feeding, cleaning, and maintenance
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, such as equipment malfunctions or livestock health concerns
• Continuously seek ways to improve and optimize ranch operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a ranch or farm
• Strong knowledge of livestock management and husbandry techniques
• Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and record-keeping software
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate ranch equipment
