Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing curriculum for various educational programs. This role requires a strong understanding of instructional design principles, curriculum development techniques, and a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design curriculum for a variety of educational programs, including but not limited to online courses, workshops, and training materials.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to gather and analyze learning objectives, content, and learner needs.
• Utilize instructional design methodologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that align with learning objectives.
• Design and develop assessments, activities, and multimedia elements to enhance learning and retention.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing curriculum to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in curriculum development to continuously improve the quality of our programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design theories, principles, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

Additional Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with adult learning principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM compliance.
• Knowledge of graphic design, video editing, and audio recording software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
