Position Overview: Our organization is seeking an Education Outreach Specialist to join our team. As the Education Outreach Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting our educational programs and services to the community. You will work closely with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to raise awareness and increase participation in our educational initiatives. This role requires strong communication, networking, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for education and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase awareness and participation in our educational programs and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and other partners to promote our programs.
• Plan and coordinate outreach events, such as presentations, workshops, and information sessions, to engage with potential participants.
• Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to create promotional materials and campaigns to reach target audiences.
• Conduct research to identify potential partners and new markets for our educational programs.
• Track and analyze outreach efforts and provide reports to management on the effectiveness of outreach strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in education outreach to continuously improve our efforts.
• Represent our organization at conferences, networking events, and other relevant gatherings to expand our outreach efforts.
• Assist with the development and delivery of training programs for partners and volunteers to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in education outreach, community engagement, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of educational programs and services, as well as the education system.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful outreach strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Working Conditions: This position is based in our office, with frequent travel to schools, community centers, and other partner locations. Some evening and weekend work will be required to accommodate outreach events and meetings. The Education Outreach Specialist may also be required to lift and transport materials up to 25 pounds.
