Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading and managing all aspects of mechanical engineering projects. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing innovative mechanical solutions to meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring project deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality
• Develop and design mechanical systems and components using 3D modeling software and perform analyses to validate designs
• Conduct research and stay current with industry trends and advancements in order to incorporate new technologies into project designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
• Create and maintain accurate project documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports
• Conduct testing and evaluation of prototypes and provide recommendations for improvements
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in the development of their skills and knowledge
• Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members
• Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all project designs and implementations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on product design and development
• Proficient in 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering projects from concept to completion
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ASME and ISO
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required
