Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify transportation needs and develop solutions for improving existing transportation systems.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to understand project requirements and objectives.
Design and develop transportation systems and infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, and public transportation networks.
Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed designs and plans for transportation projects.
Prepare project proposals, budgets, and schedules, and manage project resources to ensure timely completion and within budget.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
Conduct traffic impact studies and develop traffic control plans.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and materials for improving transportation systems and infrastructure.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, developments, and regulations related to transportation engineering.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Extensive knowledge of transportation engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
Proven experience in developing and managing project budgets and schedules.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
