Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Gameplay Programmer to join our dynamic team. As a Gameplay Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and debugging gameplay systems and mechanics for our video games. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with a talented team of artists, designers, and programmers to bring our games to life.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement gameplay systems and mechanics using industry-standard programming languages and tools.
• Collaborate with designers to understand and implement gameplay features and mechanics that enhance the player experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug gameplay issues to ensure a smooth and seamless gaming experience for our players.
• Optimize gameplay code for performance, memory usage, and scalability.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our games.
• Contribute ideas and provide feedback to improve gameplay systems and mechanics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development or related field.
• 5 years of experience in game development, with a focus on gameplay programming.
• Proficient in C++ and other programming languages commonly used in game development.
• Strong understanding of game engines and tools such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or CryEngine.
• In-depth knowledge of gameplay systems and mechanics, including but not limited to AI, physics, UI, and networking.
• Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for video games and a strong desire to create engaging and immersive gameplay experiences.
