Position: Instructional Designer

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructional Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and engaging learning materials and programs for our organization. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and create effective learning solutions that align with our company's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and technology-based learning methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct needs analysis to identify training gaps and determine appropriate learning solutions
• Design and develop engaging and interactive learning materials, including e-learning courses, virtual instructor-led training, videos, job aids, and other learning resources
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design theories to create effective learning experiences
• Utilize instructional design best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training programs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
• Conduct evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements
• Ensure all training materials and programs comply with company policies, procedures, and standards
• Keep current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and technology-based learning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate setting
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or similar tools
• Proficient in video editing and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
• Knowledge of learning management systems and virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, WebEx, etc.)
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Passion for learning and keeping up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in instructional design
