Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to clients in managing and maintaining their databases, including troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise
Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement, making recommendations and implementing solutions to optimize database functionality
Develop and maintain database standards and procedures to ensure data integrity and security
Collaborate with clients to understand their database needs and requirements, and provide guidance and support in designing and implementing database solutions
Conduct regular database audits to identify and resolve any data discrepancies or errors
Train clients on database management best practices and provide ongoing support and guidance as needed
Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends, and make recommendations for incorporating them into our clients' databases
Communicate with other teams, such as developers and IT support, to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
Document all database processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration or support
Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL
Experience with database design, development, and implementation
Knowledge of database security and data integrity best practices
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
Familiarity with cloud-based databases is a plus
