Position: Academic Program Director

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Program Director to join our team. As the Academic Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of our academic programs. You will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the quality and relevance of our programs, as well as their alignment with the institution's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for the continuous improvement of academic programs.
• Collaborate with faculty to design and update curriculum, ensuring that it meets industry standards and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze program outcomes to assess effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Lead the accreditation process for academic programs and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Develop and manage the program budget, including identifying potential funding sources and securing grants.
• Recruit, hire, and train faculty and staff for academic programs.
• Foster a culture of academic excellence and innovation within the program.
• Oversee the academic advising process for students and provide support and guidance to students as needed.
• Work with other departments to coordinate and integrate academic programs with other institutional initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to promote academic programs and recruit students.
• Facilitate partnerships and collaborations with external organizations to enhance program offerings and opportunities for students.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements, and incorporate them into the development and delivery of academic programs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to academic programs.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within higher education.
• Proven track record of developing, implementing, and evaluating academic programs.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and processes.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design and development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically, problem-solve, and make data-informed decisions.
• Experience managing budgets and securing funding.
• Passion for education and commitment to academic excellence.
