Job Title: Fashion Buyer

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Fashion Buyer to join our team. As a Fashion Buyer, you will be responsible for selecting and purchasing merchandise for our retail store or online platform. You will work closely with the merchandising team to identify current and future fashion trends, negotiate with suppliers, and manage inventory levels to ensure that our customers have access to the latest and most sought-after fashion items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analyze fashion trends to identify potential product opportunities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing, quantity, and delivery terms
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to create seasonal buying plans and budgets
• Attend fashion shows, trade shows, and buying trips to source new products and stay up-to-date on industry trends
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed buying decisions
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of popular products
• Plan and execute promotional strategies to increase sales and drive customer engagement
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and adherence to brand and quality standards
• Manage and update product pricing, descriptions, and imagery on our online platform
• Stay informed on industry regulations and make sure all products meet safety and compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fashion Buyer, preferably in a retail setting
• Strong knowledge of fashion trends, designers, and brands
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and increasing profitability
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to travel for buying trips and attend industry events
