Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with potential borrowers, including real estate agents, builders, and financial professionals
Meet with clients to discuss loan options, explain the loan process, and gather necessary information for loan applications
Evaluate loan applications and determine the best loan options for clients based on their financial situation and needs
Prepare and submit loan packages to underwriting for approval
Ensure all loan documents are accurate and complete, and work with clients to obtain any missing information
Communicate with clients throughout the loan process to provide updates and address any concerns or questions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient processing of loans
Conduct credit and background checks on potential borrowers to assess creditworthiness and mitigate risk
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and changes in loan products to provide clients with the most current and relevant information
Adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations governing mortgage lending
Meet or exceed monthly and annual loan production goals

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in mortgage lending or related field
Comprehensive knowledge of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations
Strong sales and customer service skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan origination software
Must hold a valid mortgage loan originator license in accordance with state and federal regulations
