Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for new and existing projects
Conduct research and analysis to determine the feasibility, viability, and effectiveness of mechanical designs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of mechanical systems with other components of the project
Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
Utilize CAD software and other tools to develop and test prototypes and models of mechanical systems
Conduct testing and analysis of mechanical systems to identify potential problems and areas for improvement
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members
Stay updated with industry advancements and innovations to incorporate into designs and processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a senior or leadership role
Strong knowledge of CAD software, as well as other design and analysis tools
Experience with materials selection, testing, and analysis
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical systems and components
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
