Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop transportation systems, including roads, highways, bridges, and public transportation.
Conduct feasibility studies and analyze data to determine the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for transportation projects.
Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes related to transportation systems.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work on transportation projects.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and government agencies.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and changes in regulations related to transportation engineering.
Mentor and train junior engineers and support staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and regulations related to transportation systems.
Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, and Civil 3D.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
