Position: Data Modeler
Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models and databases for our organization. You will work closely with the data engineering and analytics teams to ensure the integrity and quality of our data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, database design, and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data models for various business needs and applications.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data models.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data models and databases.
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure data availability and reliability.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues and provide recommendations for data governance.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models and databases.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
