Position: Logistics Coordinator

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery and maximum efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods and materials from suppliers to customers, both domestically and internationally
• Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
• Track shipments and maintain accurate records of all logistics activities
• Communicate with customers to provide updates on the status of their orders and address any concerns or inquiries
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures to increase efficiency and reduce transportation costs
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock levels are maintained to meet customer demands
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation for international shipments, including customs paperwork and export permits
• Work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate and timely inventory management
• Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize logistics operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement logistics strategies that support business objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics software, experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
