We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collections Manager to join our dynamic team and lead our collections department.

Job Overview: As the Collections Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the collections process and managing a team of collections agents. You will be responsible for ensuring that all delinquent accounts are properly managed and that collections targets are met. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of collections processes and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to ensure timely and successful collections of delinquent accounts.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the collections team, providing regular feedback and coaching to improve performance.
• Conduct regular meetings with the collections team to review progress, discuss challenges, and identify areas for improvement.
• Handle escalated collection issues and resolve disputes with clients in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the collections process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external collection agencies to outsource delinquent accounts when necessary.
• Prepare and analyze collection reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing collections practices.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and trends to continuously improve the collections process and achieve higher success rates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections management, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding collections targets.
• Strong knowledge of collections laws and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to think strategically and develop effective collection strategies.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and collections software.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
