Position: Injection Molding Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Injection Molding Technician to join our dynamic team. As an Injection Molding Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. Your expertise and attention to detail will be vital in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust injection molding machines to meet production requirements
• Monitor production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure timely production and adherence to quality standards
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines
• Train and mentor new injection molding technicians as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in injection molding preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Injection Molding Technician
• Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines in a manufacturing setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
